This album as the most impressive production lineup of the year. You got the Stones Throw crew (Madlib, Oh No, Dilla, DJ DJ Design) + some old DITC affiliates (Showbiz & Lord Finesse) and the European Tommy Tee. AG is a veteran, anyone who's familiar with the DITC crew know he is. Back in 92 he dropped the classic Runaway Slave with his partner Showbiz, then came a nice followup Goodfellas. His last album came out in 1999 it's been a long time since AG gave us any material. His rapping did stepdown a little from the 90's, he never was a lyrical genius but definitely held it down on the mic. The production is pretty good overall, there's a few really dope tracks and every song is listenable so overall good album.
